Oil & Gas Science and Technology - Revue de l'IFP has an Editorial Committee made up of 14 leading European personalities from universities and from industry, and is indexed in the major international bibliographical databases.

John Lynch, Editor in Chief of our Oil & Gas Science and TechnologyRevue de l'IFP Journal, has died suddenly at the age of 54.

John was an internationally renowned scientist. Specialist in characterisation of materials, he was also open to numerous other fields. Holder of a national accreditation to supervise research, Director Expert with the IFP Scientific Division, author of five patents, four books and in particular numerous scientific articles, he continued his activities within the Applied Chemistry and Physical Chemistry Division and represented IFP in numerous organisations, including ANR (French National Research Agency) and ANCRE (French National Alliance for Energy Research Coordination).
